Wednesday, January 30 at 5:30 pm is Pitt’s community meeting about their IMP process. This will be a good opportunity for community members to ask Pitt about their plans for community engagement around their Community Enhancement Strategy as well as their timeline.

On Monday, February 11 at 6 pm in the Parkview Manor community room, OPDC and South Oakland Neighborhood Group (SONG) are hosting a dinner and movie night where we will show two short films about the history of Community Land Trusts and how they work. Any interested Oakland residents (not just from South Oakland) are welcome.

Wednesday, January 23 at 6 pm at the Oakland Career Center at 294 Semple St, Walnut Capital will be presenting plans for a new office building at Fifth and Halket (flyer attached). This is a large project and our community process with this project will help set the precedent for future development. Please encourage your neighbors to attend.
