One proposal to beautify Oakcliffe is that trees be planted throughout the neighborhood. Unfortunately there are not many locations in Oakcliffe where this can be done. In most locations the overhead power lines run in front of the buildings, or the sidewalks are too narrow, either condition preventing the planting of trees. However, in the few locations where there is enough space, trees are a welcome addition to the Oakcliffe urban landscape. Where trees can be planted, property owners can be contacted and offered trees to plant on their land.
