One long term project of the Oakcliffe community is the development of the Oakcliffe Greenway trail and tunnel passage.
The idea is to build a walking path down the slope which will connect to an existing tunnel that goes under I-376.
The name that the Oakcliffe community has given to this project is “Rock Alley,” after the name of a historic street that was located on this slope.
